Finger Paints Lemon Sour and Pop Rock Pink + a little stamping

Its FRIIIIIIIIIday!!!!!! Hope you ladies have had a great week. I thought it went by rather quickly myself and for that I'm thankful. My preceptor at my new gig has been so fascinated with my nails this week and the fact I change them almost daily. I kinda get a giggle out of that. Today I have two Finger Paints polishes from the Spring 2012 Gumdrop and Lollipop collection: Lemon Sour and Pop Rock Pink. The colors are perfect for spring and summer but very similar to other spring collections I've seen. While perusing the store these two popped out at me.

First up, Lemon Sour! It is a very pretty pale yellow creme. It was actually pretty easy to apply for a yellow. Not too streaky and pretty opaque in two coats. I used 3 here.

So I'm revisiting stamping so beware in the upcoming post. I'm a stamping machine! I stamped Lemon Sour using my Konad M64 plate and Essie's Peach Daiquiri and OPI's Fly. Not too shabby.

Secondly we have, Pop Rock Pink. It is a coral/pink with very small glimpse of shimmer. I absolutely love Pop Rock Pink. It does apply rather sheer but builds pretty good by. I used 3 coats here.

A while back when I first ordered my Shany plates I youtube'd ideas for stamping. I wish I could remember where I got this idea but its on the world of youtube somewhere. Anywho, I sponged Ruby Kisses Blues Clue, China Glaze Sunshine Pop, Sinful Colors Let's Talk on top of Pop Rock Pink followed by 1 coat of Orly's Twilight for a little shimmer. Here comes the stamper: I used Shany plate SH20 and Kleancolor Black. Again not too shabby.

Helpful hint: I've been able to get just about all brands of polish to work with my stamper by running my buffer across the stamper to a few times then just clean it with non acetone polish

Have you tried any of the Finger Paints Gumdrop and Lollipop collection polishes? I picked these up at Sally's a while back on sale BOGO. Have a great weekend ladies! :-)
