Polish Addict: Jellyfish

Happy Friday everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! It's almost 2013, where has the time gone? Today I hoped to have the OPI Mariah Carey collection up for you all but I just didn't get around to editing all the photos so tomorrow!!!! Have no fear though, I do have another beautiful specimen to present to you! This is my first purchased from the Polish Addict. I've been eyeing Jellyfish for a while so when she held a sale (which she often does including RIGHT NOW) I jumped on it. See more pics and the review after the jump.

Jellyfish is a milky nude base jam packed with blue and yellow hex glitter and fine purple glitter. There was no fishing for glitter with this baby. I was able to achieve full opaqueness with 2 coats, using a thicker coat for the 2nd.

This polish has Mardi Gras written all over it.

While I love this polish, as is, I will say I was a little lot disappointed when it arrived. The swatches I've been seeing on Instagram looks like a totally different polish. They are more nude with a subtle hint of glitter which is what made me fall in love with the polish to start with. I envisioned being able to wear this polish anywhere. With handmade indie brands there will be variations from bottle to bottle but...yeah! Keep in mind I was only disappointed because I really thought I was getting the other version not because of what I got because this version kicks azz too!

I have emailed Laura to see if there are 2 versions of this polish and if so I will update this post with how you can specify which version you'd like when ordering. I also got Soft Kitty which I will get up on the blog really soon. You can order polishes from her shop at www.shoppolishaddict.bigcartel.com

Which version do you like best?

UPDATE: the polish I swatched is called Jellyfish II. The original version (Jellyfish I) is aval in limited quantities and for a limited time so hurry over if you prefer the more subtle look.
