MAC: Morange Nail Lacquer

Hi everyone!!! It's Wednesday!! For those of you who live for the weekend, you're halfway there. For the rest of us who make everyday count, well, it's Wednesday! Today I have a quick swatch and simple splatter mani using MAC Cosmetics Morange. This is my first MAC polish. Find out what I really think about it after the jump.

I've really been into the orange's this spring/summer. When I spotted Morange I immediately gravitated towards it. Morange is a bright orange creme. I had just taken the most perfect orange off my toes (you know, one of those colors you pick at the salon you'll never find again not even at that salon) so I was hoping Morange would satisfy that. It's beautiful in its own right but not as bright and vibrant as I was hoping for.

Application wise, I'm not sure if it was my bottle but I had a little problem with my polish being a little thick. I definitely had to use a top coat of Seche Vite to smooth things out. This is 2 coats of Morange.

Because I can never leave well enough alone I got out my Sinful Color Snow Me White, China Glaze Frostbite, a straw and got to splattering. Totally took me back a "few" years as these were my high school colors. Go Bobcats!!!!

Can you tell I'm obsessed with splatter lately? Have you tried the splatter method?

For all you lipstick lovers, Morange is also available for the lippies. You can pick up Morange at any MAC Cosmetics store, counter, or online. I picked mine up in Bloomingdales and it retails for $16.

What's your favorite MAC lacquer?
